I've been making progress on a lot of fronts. I'm taking drawing classes online with one of my granddaughters but I won't bother you with my homework pages. I'm starting a face pin trying techniques and the idea I saw on Grace's blog And last, but certainly not least, I have been working on finishing my last page of last years BJP and on this years first page. I feel like I'm doing pretty well. Hope I can keep up the momentum.

Love the red circle!!! That has come along wonderfully! The Yellow page is wonderful too - with the peyote down and the yellow circles. Isn't it interesting how the one yellow recedes on the page, forcing the other one to be more bold? A great play with finishes!

I really like what you've done so far with the yellow piece for this year. I've just finished up my journal quilt for May (08) but haven't posted it yet. And I still have two more journal quilts to finish from last year's BJP!
These are both fabulous, Timaree!!! I especially loved the enlarged version of the circle piece... the design and all the variations in each section of it are mesmerizing (sp?)... I studied it for ages... can't wait to see it finished. Bravo! Robin A.
Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm glad you like the new direction I am taking for this year. An impromtu trip to California didn't help but am getting more done now - again!!
