Journal Page

I have made a new journal page in which I added some folk art painting. I haven't done any of that kind of painting in several years so it was quite a stretch for me. I like how it turned out and hope to do some more of it. My journal gives me a place to use this painting now that I don't have furniture or other things I want to paint on.

this is lovely!!! I guess painting for you is natural too, it's gorgeous! Would you move up here so I can "play" with you???? :)

The journal is lovely. Awww, come on. Surely there is something you want to paint on! If you haven't painted in a while, you certainly haven't lost the touch!

My crystal ball reveals many more mixed collage and paint journal pages. Beautiful! Love the yellow bird.

What a wonderful journal page. Your folk style painting is so sweet.... and I love the image of the garden too!

Thanks for your advice with my journal about dividing up the page. I stopped my journal at the end of summer and it is amazing how less creative I feel not doing something in there everyday. So back to to the journal for me!

Oooooohhhh. I LOVE THIS PAGE!!! It is BEAUTIFUL! The painting reminds me of rose mahling, I don't think I'm spelling that right, but its a type of stylized painting in Scandinavian traditions. LOVELY!
