Inchy

The theme at Inchybyinch this week is Yule. Not Christmas but a holiday celebrated by pre-Christian peoples. It conveniently transferred over as Christianity took hold. So I have a background of evergreens with a pine cone on top.

So many of the holiday calendars overlap. Much of the Christian calendar has roots in earlier traditions. Another wonderful inchie!! A woman on ATC4All just got a personalized license plate that reads "INCHIES".

Great inchy Timaree - I love evergreens and fir cones and Christmas week we all go out into our garden and gather some, including Holly and Mistletoe if we're lucky enough to find some and decorate the house with it - I love the smell it brings.

I love this inchie, just as I love learning about a variety of traditions. It is what makes our world more/most interesting. THANK YOU!
